Funds:

Contributions from individuals, local businesses, private foundations, faith-based organizations, and local, state, federal, and regional agencies are a viatl aprt in maintaining a non-profit organiozation.

The Haven utilizes contributions in three major ways;

1) By assisting individuals directly with financial needs.

2) By offering opportunities to individuals through educational, employment, and life-skills programs.

3) For operational cost such as, staff salaries, utility bills, computer upkeep and programs, and office/house supplies.

 

Supplies

For the Men;

Toiletry items (soap, shampoo, deoderant, shaving cream, razors, underware, socks, bookbags, bicycle and bicycle locks.

For the House;

Toilet tissue, papaer towels, clearning supplies, shower flip-flops, towels, washcloths, canned or dried foods and ready-to-eat breakfast items.

For the Office;

Printer paper, printer ink, notebooks, personal calendars, pens, note pads……etc.

Volunteers

Meal Preparation and Delivery;

Dinner is delivered around 6 p.m. daily by pre-scheduled volunteers. Lunch is served on Sunday around noon, however it can be delivered earlier.

Mentoring;

Opportunities for members of the community to work directly with a resident to assist them in the process of regaining stability.

Other Options;

Volunteer drivers to take residents to appointments or employment opportunities, shelter cleaning and repair, grounds keeping and various administration duties.
